My kids are rough when they play, and the previous hoop we had purchased from the big box sore was time to put to rest after 2 years. Secondly, it was an eyesore in front of the house. This hoop is amazing and is professional quality. You can tell from the weight of each component. This was a great investment and looks great in front of our house.

When we planned to build a backyard basketball court we insisted on making it top quality and regulation just like you would find at Philips Arena. Nobody local carried what I was looking for. I wanted a big, solid system that would hold up to slam dunks from a big man, and had the wow factor. A friend of mine had recently bought a Mega Slam XL and invited my son and I over to play on it. Once we were able to see it, touch it, feel it we knew this was the one. This is the biggest, baddest hoop I've ever seen. The pole is HUGE and the best part is when we play on the hoop it replicates an arena system. I am proud to have this in my backyard.

I've been around the game of basketball my whole life. I've played it, coached it, and even volunteer as a referee. I was finally able to convince my boss to build a court for the employees at our company. I think it's a great thing for several reasons that I won't get into here. I've got to tell you that the new hoop exceeded my expectations. The size of the system and strength is unlike any other hoop I've played on. The main pole is a foot thick. We have a few big boys that play on our company team and this hoop handles them with no problem. We searched high and low to make sure we were getting the biggest and best and I would say we accomplished that. The buying process was simple and the hoop arrived within 3-4 days of placing the order. I was the one that brought the hoop up to my boss and I seriously came out looking like a hero.
