Just put the hoop up this past weekend. As far as install it was very easy except for digging the hole. :) but once that was done the rest was easy and I really do recommend having at least 2 people around to help you get the backboard up. It is very heavy. Hoop looks great looks like great quality and will last and hold up to Wisconsin weather but I guess only time will tell. I will leave another review in about a year.

This is the best outdoor basketball goal I have ever owned and even more impressive, it's the best outdoor basketball goal I have ever played on. The backboard is professional grade. The rim is professional grade. The 12" pole is completely solid. You can take a shot from half court and the goal will not move. You can throw the ball football style at the backboard and the goal will not move. My six year old daughter can easily adjust it up and down (she moves it down to 5.5 feet so she and her friends can have dunk contests!). It has been installed for only four weeks, yet everyone in the neighborhood knows about it and wants to come play on it. I could not be more pleased with this purchase - it was worth every penny. I look forward to many hours of family fun playing on this goal for years to come. One important note, you should definitely hire someone to install it. I hired some guys and it took 3 very strong people to get it all installed. You are already spending some good money on a great goal, don't go cheap and try to install yourself.

very practical for 3 grandkids--not a tinker toy to install, and unless you are highly skilled in concrete, erection, etc., plan on hiring professional help for the installation--all representations by the marketing people are accurate
