As with many purchases for my home, I do a lot of research, and this was no exception. From early on I realized this was the system for our family. I have 4 very active, athletic and shall I say at times destructive boys. I'll be honest, they are rough on stuff. I needed a hoop that would hold up to the constant and relentless use and abuse they might dish out. It has surpassed all my expectations! From the strength of the components to the aesthetics of the whole system, we have been nothing less than blown away. We could not be happier with our choice and look forward to years of fun and exercise with our Megaslam!

The entire experience was most excellent with mega slam hoops. They delivered on time with a product that exceeded my expectations for build quality and performance. My son loves it. I was able to do the full install myself thanks to the excellent instructions and support.

I purchased this system based upon the recommendation of a friend that purchased the same system for his son. It is fantastic. The post is solid and has no openings for water or wasps. The backboard has a true feel and the height adjustment is easy enough for my 9 year old to use. Installation was very simple is you just follow the instructions provided (I also watched a video on youtube which was fantastic). The backboard is heavy and you will need 2-3 additional people to help set it into place. Once the concrete was set it took about 2 hours to complete and start playing. I was hesitant about spending this much for a basketball goal or system, but I'm so glad that did.
