The website info is true. The system was shipped just as it said. I received it about ten days after ordering. This is not something you just throw up and start shooting baskets, it takes time to prep and plan so having it any sooner would have done me no good. Mine went UPS freight and they called before they came to set a delivery time. Driver waited until I checked to make sure the backboard was intact. It took some time and a lot of energy to dig the hole I went a couple inches deeper and belled the bottom, therefore it took 19 bags of concrete. Everything went as expected maybe because I watched the videos and read the instructions multiple times. Don’t think you are going to install this system yourself takes four people to attach the backboard and no way someone could muscle the main pole alone. Assembly was very straight forward and really pretty easy. The quality is easy to see, end cap on the adjustment arm even has little wells to drain water in case some gets in. Some other companies say MegaSlam is over kill thicker steel, to many gussets, and stainless steel hardware. I’m not sure how bigger and stronger is a bad thing. If you use impact wrench on stainless hardware it will gaul but their is no reason to do that for a basketball system there is just not that much hardware to tighten. This system is as advertised easy to adjust very robust and makes the whole family happy. I paid $400 less than a some what comparable system. Now that it’s up and running not a day has gone by we are not outside shooting baskets. Even the occasional dad dunk.

The moment I opened the box and observed the parts, I knew this was a solid product! Everything felt so well manufactured. Installation wasn't overly complex. Aside from the backboard, I was able to do the rest myself. Digging a 4' deep 18" x 18" square hole into the clay soil in my back yard was the biggest pain of the installation. The rest was a cinch -- including pouring 17 bags of concrete to fill that hole. It looks fantastic in my back yard and plays just like the ones at the gym (except it's a 60" backboard instead of the 72" backboards at the gym). I thought I'd regret not getting the 72" but honestly, the 60" backboard has been fine for my 31" x 31" backyard court.
