Fantastic quality and best value out there. This is a legit hoop for preschoolers to grown men with the adjustability and rugged design. I'm 6'6" 230lb and this hoop will take everything I can throw at it. The install can go very smoothly if you think everything out. Highly recommend renting an auger if you have clay or rocky soil. I do and did it by hand anyway with a spud bar and post hold digger which turned out to be a real bear. Four feet is a long way in that kind of soil. Make sure you bell out the bottom of your hole 6 inches all around which makes your support column much stronger and anchors it in the ground resisting any uplift. I did rent a cement mixer that could handle two 80lb bags at a time and that made the concrete work very easy. Also you can buy your concrete online at your local big box store and have it delivered on a pallet saving some effort. If you have two reasonably strong people, a small moving dolly ($10 at harbor freight) and a pickup truck that is all you need for the rest of the install. Move all the heavy pieces around on the dolly and once you have the post up work out of the back of the truck which is much safer than a ladder. When installing the backboard place a moving blanket on each bed rail then lay the backboard across face down first then rotate up to the vertical. One person can hold it there while the other slides the bolts through the center and upper brackets. You can use the height adjuster to get all the holes to line up perfectly without trying to lift and hold the backboard at the same time. After that step the rest of the install is a breeze and you're playing in no time. I would also recommend hitting the pole pad and rubber along the bottom of the backboard with some 303 Aerospace vinyl protectant from time to time which protects against UV. It will stay looking good and last indefinitely that way. Also be sure to use the included touchup paint on any areas you might have scratched during the install before any rust can form.

pretty awesome hoop. sturdy and long lasting (my neighbor's is 4 years old and still like new). kids are out playing with it all day

Hardest part is digging the hole and pouring the concrete. Installing the pole and hoop only took 1 hour. My 8 year old loves that it goes below 7.5 feet. He can dunk and hang on the rim.
