This is the best hoop. it is a strong and heavy duty one. when the ball hits the back board, it rebounds so nicely. There is not even one shake in the post when the ball hits the rim or board.

I have twin 5yr old boys and have been looking at in ground systems basically since they were born. I'm from NC and this is Basketball country! I knew I only wanted to do this once, so I wanted the best system I could afford. I had all but made my mind up on a competitors system, but when I finally was ready to pull the trigger, I decided to browse their site one last time to refresh my memory on exactly WHY they claim to be the best. In doing so, I just so happened to run across an explanation on THEIR site as to what makes them better than MegaSlam. "We don't use Stainless Steel Hardware because..., Our Pole is smaller because..., Our goal doesn't go below 7' because..., You don't need 12 gussets on the base-4 is sufficient..." etc. After reading through their list, I didn't agree with half of their reasoning? As a result, I started researching MegaSlam and simply found their system to be more durable, and "over engineered" as their competitor stated. Is there such a thing as over engineered Basketball Goal? I assume it's possible, but on a Basketball System, I found all of the "over engineered" items to be added benefit. The ordering process was simple, delivery was just as advertised, prep & installation were right in line with the instructions, and my entire family has thoroughly enjoyed the goal so far. All fit & finishes seem to be of excellent quality and I fully expect to get YEARS of enjoyment!

We looked at several options for a goal that would be strong and adjustable. We landed on purchasing the Megaslam 60 and are very happy with our choice. Our family plays a lot of basketball and we also have a lot kids over to play. The adjustable / dunkable goal is always a huge hit. We have only had the goal up for a couple months but it appears to be well built and I expect it will have a very long life. We installed it ourselves. We live in such rocky soil I had to rent an auger to drill the hole. After that it was just a lot of labor to mix the concrete and set the bolts, etc. Installing the goal itself was pretty simple. Overall very happy with this goal!
