This is an amazing product. We went from an outdated hoop on a pole that had been at our school for years! One of the parents who helped install the new hoops actually played on the hoops when he was at our school. The new hoops are beautiful and I am sure they will improve the ability of our Basketball players! Strong. Sturdy. Aesthetically Pleasing!

I was worried that I was making a mistake buying a hoop that, for some unknown reason, was $800 cheaper than equivalent models from two other competitors. The MegaSlam 72 feels like a professional-grade hoop and is of very high quality. The backboard is just gorgeous, and the padding and foot cover were a very pleasant surprise. Another concern I had before the purchase was the installation. The instructions were great, and the whole process was actually very straightforward and the hoop easy to install. I mostly did it myself, although I needed a couple of my strong neighbors to help get the backboard on—it's a beast. I appreciated that there was enough flexibility in the system to make everything perfectly straight. Yes, you have the anchor with self-leveling nuts, but you also have a bit of play with the post in case your pad is not perfectly parallel to your court (don't ask how I know that :)). As a casual player who wanted to build a proper sports court in his backyard, with a high quality hoop, I'm very happy with my purchase.
