I spent a lot of time picking out a hoop for our new backyard court. Did a lot of research online. Queried local installers. My goal was to find the most playable, solid hoop I could possibly find. All of that research pointed to MegaSlam. So, when my installer (Pat from Pacific Coast Hoop Installs) told me, “I think you’re going to be even happier with this hoop than you think.” I was a little skeptical. I mean, I’ve done my research; I know what I bought. But, when he came back after the cement had cured and put up the hoop- well, he was right. This thing is awesome. Just nicer, better looking, and more solid than I could have imagined. The other day I was in a sporting goods store and I walked by the hoops they were selling. I used to look at those hoops and think, “One day.” Now, all I could think was, “If that’s how much they charge for one of those, my MegaSlam should have cost thousands more.” Thankfully, it didn’t. Every single day when we’re out on the court, I am happy that we installed a MegaSlam XL.

Pretty easy to install, backboard is heavy which is great, it takes a few friends to help you hold it up for install. Love no brackets or frame behind the glass

I got the Mega Slam XL. It is an incredible system. The adjustment is incredibly smooth and easy. The basket is equal to any indoor gym hoop. The installer who helped me put it in identified to me that this is the best hoop you can possibly get, and I think he's right. I had always wanted to get a very nice basketball system and researched all of the companies before I bought this. I do have a huge driveway and so the fact that this system is very large works well. The extra overhang distance is perfect for people that really want to play hard because they avoid running into the pole. I am extremely satisfied.
