First, I'd like to thank Universal Service Center for their professionalism and high-quality know-how when it comes to in-ground basketball system installs. Kudos to them for the great work (in both rain/snow and shine)! They help bring the joy of the MegaSlam60 to life for my family. Thank you! Second, and certainly not least, the MegaSlam 60 is the perfect hoop for all ages. The weight and quality of the steel and finish is fantastic. The structural rigidity surpasses that of other similar-looking hoops on the market. It is able to be lowered to 5 feet where my youngest is able to shoot confidently and dunk like his older brothers. The rebounds are true, the 180-degree rim gives just like you expect it to, and the net music is beautiful when you hit a J just right. This will be the only in-ground system I recommend going forward. Also helps knowing that the installers appreciate a quality system and reference this hoop as being an elite choice when considering residential systems.

#1 they do not cut corners. It seems like everywhere they could increase the quality they have done it. It really leaves you with a feeling like how can they do this and make money, or at the minimum why do most other companies not care as much as they do. #2 I appreciate they use ups freight to ship this from Texas to maryland and it arrived in 3 days. Normally when I buy big items from other companies they save a buck by shipping with horrible carriers that it arrives damaged in addition to taking a week or two just to arrange delivery after you waited for them to get it to your state. I can not believe this was sitting in my driveway in 3 days. #3 I have called and emailed this company several times. If I left a voicemail they called back within minutes. They have responded to emails on sundays and weeknights. They love what they do and it is refreshing to deal with them. #4 you will not regret buying from this company, if you don’t I am sad you don’t know what your missing.

I have three kids, all under 6 years old, so the fact that you can lower the MegaSlam to 5’ was a great selling point. Also I wanted a system that I didn’t have to worry about in terms of robustness when my son is a teenager and he has his friends over. It’s easy to raise and lower. Very smooth. Looks great. The 54” backboard is plenty big enough for my two car driveway. Just be careful about backing out vans and SUVs with the rim lowered. It’s a heavy system. We had it professionally installed for $350. Money well spent in my opinion when you are putting in a premium hoop system.
