I have been in the market for a permanent basketball goal for my family for a year or so now. I know, a year? Why so long? Well, I suffer from paralysis by analysis and research, research, read all the reviews, and research some more. Like most people, I started at the national box stores with the main brands that are in stock there. After all, you recognize those names and can get them right away. Of course, I can't just walk into the store, buy a $1,500+ item and walk out without doing my due diligence. So, I walked out of the stores and started researching. After minimal research, I quickly ruled out buying an in-stock goal at a box store. The specs didn't even come close to many other relevant brands. As with most of my larger purchases, I got frustrated and put it on the backburner. Insert Coronavirus! Can't go anywhere and do anything. My kids and I are going crazy, so it was time. I hopped back in and started researching again. Of course my searches took me to a number of other high end goals such as, Goalsetter, Produnk, etc. All of these companies have great reviews, and I was all but set on Produnk. Then I came across a video of the unboxing of the exact produnk model I was looking for (72") and comparing it side by side with the Megaslam. The differences were obvious in build quality, attention to detail, craftsmanship, and of course... price. For less money, I got a much higher quality goal than the original model I was considering from Produnk. This goal is a BEAST! They are not lying when they say you need 4 able bodies to deal with the install. It has been installed and we have been using it for about 2 weeks now and my kids literally use it multiple times a day. The height adjustment is so easy that my 5 year old can function it... and he does all the time! This goal is everything I thought it would be... and so much more. I am convinced there is not a better goal for the money. I would buy it again in a heartbeat and will recommend to anyone that asks. Though, if they have been to my house and saw it firsthand, it does the selling by itself. Great work Megaslam! Now, I do have one small gripe that frustrated me at the time. The delivery was not what I expected. These are delivered via UPS freight. I have a long 1/4 mile gravel drive to get to my house and a somewhat high traffic road at the end of the drive. The delivery driver showed up and parked on the side of the road. I though, no problem, he's just making a plan on how to get up the drive and out. I have ample room to turn around and get out, even with a semi. 20 minutes later, I look out and he is attempting to get the massive boxes on the lift gate. At one point, it looked like the boxes almost fell to the ground! Ok, I'm starting to get nervous about what he is doing so I head down to the end of the drive. By the time I get down there, he had unloaded it, and with a pallet jack, dragged it across the road and half way into my driveway. That was as far as he could get it. I was confirmed by him that was all he could do and would not be bringing the goal up to my home. So, I was left with a $2,000 package half way into the road of a busy street! Not good. Luckily, I was able to get ahold of a couple friends that were able to help me get it off the road and up to the house within 30 minutes. Had I known this was how it was to be delivered, I would have had them waiting so we didn't have to scramble. Now, I know UPS probably has rules against driving on driveways, I just would have expected that I would have been given a heads up about that so I could be ready. Hopefully, this review could help someone else be ready for this if it happens to them. In closing, I would just like to say I don't normally ever write reviews unless a product exceeds my expectation, or falls far short. It is fair to say, this goal has exceeded my expectations and I am 110% happy with the purchase. Thanks Megaslam!

Kids love it. Number of attaboys from neighborhood dads is a source of constant amusement. It's a top end add to the driveway.

I have 3 boys who loves basketball and they are extremely happy about this hoop system. One of the best investment I could of made.
