This of my first basketball hoop purchase and I’m extremely happy with the product. After tediously researching the internet for the perfect basketball hoop, I was glad to find Mega Slam! It’s well built and extremely durable. So far my whole family enjoys it. I have no doubt that this will bring lots of joy to my family for years to come.

So far this has been a great purchase. Installation was no problem me my dad and son installed. Extremely well built, I’m sure my grandchildren we be playing on it one day. My son is 13 teen and he loves it. The backboard and rim are excellent. The post is a monster.

-Shipping was surprisingly fast considering the complications with the Pandemic. Growing up I have always had a hoop in my backyard and thought now was finally time to have one of my own. After lots of research I found that the biggest con to an in-ground hoop was the shaking of the entire rig that occurred after a shot. So my number one goal was to find a basketball system that was heavy duty and had minimal shake. MegaSlam was the answer. This thing is built like a tank and built to last. The materials used are high quality and it looks SO good in my backyard. A word of warning to prospective do-it-yourself buyers: the prep for putting this in is no joke. A 20x20 inch 4-foot deep hole was hard manual labor for one person. I ended up using eighteen 90 pound bags of concrete to fill it, which was equally as tiresome. Luckily I had another person's help with the mixing and pouring. Putting up the pole and lever arm was simple enough with 2 people (though I am 6'4" so maybe not for the average human), but the backboard is a beast of its own. I ended up using the ladder method with 3 people total. Two holding the backboard in place atop the ladder and the third putting the bolts in place. After all was said and done and having shot around and dunked on this hoop I can say with certainty this is a top notch basketball system that is sturdy with minimal if any shake and I know will have decades of use and fun for the whole family. Thank you MegaSlam for an awesome product! In an age in which things are built with planned obsolescence in mind I know this hoop will last a lifetime.
