Researched hoops for residential install for a couple months and went back and forth on amount of $$$ to spend. Came across Mega Hoops a couple times in my search and then found videos showing comparisons with others and was hooked. I am very easily swayed when physical evidence of a superior product is given or can be proven and what I found in video evidence was exactly what showed up at my home and I love it. This setup is for the kids of the home but after being out there that first night the entire family is going to enjoy it, not all of us good at basketball by any means but it will still be fun. Set installs just like directions show and they are easy to follow. Hardest part for me was digging the hole. Original suggested size was 20" X 20" X 48" deep I had intended to make a 24" X 24" X 48" hole but being a bonehead started digging my hole on the outside of my form and that added yet another 3" to the area so I ended up with a 27" X 27" X 48" hole with a flanged bottom which took 38 bags of 80lb concrete.....this thing is not going anywhere. :) Love it, built to last for years to come.

I was a bit intimidated when the large pallets showed up at the house, but after putting in the footing, it probably only took myself and my two of my kids 2 hrs to get the hoop completely up. I bought this hoop because my kids had broken our previous hoop multiple times and I got tired of fixing it. As sturdy as this hoop is, I'm not worried about them dunking and breaking it anymore. One minor issue we had is that the protective padding had a small rip in it from shipping. I emailed a pictures to the company and they sent out a new one right away.

This goal is definitely not the cheapest and not even in the medium price range for goals but I would not trade it for any of those. You definitely will notice the quality of the goal and the parts when you begin to assemble it and especially when you start to throw down jams. I went and looked at plenty that were in the $800 to $1,200 range but none of these really seemed worth that price as they seemed like they would either rust or not be able to stay firm when my 200lb self puts one down. Also I installed it myself and really is not that hard, granted I had the help of two other guys. Digging the hole was probably the most laborious part but nothing you can't do yourself and save the $600+ for instillation.
