The MegaSlam Lift Assist attaches to the lower extension arm and main post to neutralize the weight of the backboard when adjusting the height of the rim. The MegaSlam 54/60 utilize (1) lift assist, and the MegaSlam XL/72 utilize (2) lift assists.
