I did a ton of research to the point where the wife and kids were like, "order one already. The heavy duty construction and weatherproof design were the big sellers for me. No better set up Available for the money in my opinion. The one very big caution and I mean super important is the Manufacturer recommended installation procedure ... I don't remember exactly what size hole in the ground was called for for this unit but we went a full 52 inches deep by 25 in.² and if I did it over again I might go bigger the manufacture calls for a far smaller hole and there's no way I would ever consider putting this heavy-duty hoop Hoop in any smaller hole then what we dug... the sucker is big and heavy it took four adults in the back of the pick up truck to get this thing up ... the half-inch thick glass and a type of construction from the pole to the backboard was a beast of course extra weight and solid construction definitely needs a better product this thing is rocksolid and plays like a pro

This thing is strong, and wasn't that bad to put up. The 48" hole is a nightmare to dig, but assembly wasn't bad once you have helpers to lift the backboard. Had an issue with one of the bolts and megaslam sent a new one out within a few days.

The system is very sturdy and very easy to adjust height, kids love it! The rim is very strong too for dunking, no worries about it breaking.

I shopped online and in stores. Definitely overkill for my needs but quality and cost rivals other higher cost systems. Quality and customer support is second to none and my system is the best home system I have ever seen. Do Your homework and you'll come to the same conclusion, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
